High school students

Alliance Française Palmerston North has a range of courses dedicated to 13-18 year old students who study French at school and wish to BOOST their learning in order to achieve best results.

Why choose our courses?

  • They are complementary to the school curriculum: new activities and documents are used to practise and reinvest the skills and themes learnt at school.
  • Students benefit from a complete immersion in the francophone and Francophile environment at the Alliance Française.
  • Teachers use authentic class material, from French TV, magazines, movies, carefully chosen and adapted by our educational team.
  • Courses are fun! Less formal exercises and homework, more interaction and real life situation.

Most of our classes focus on oral communication in small groups and allow our students to expand their comprehension and speaking skills.

Year 11 preparing for NCEA level 1

Year 12 preparing for NCEA level 2

Year 13 preparing for NCEA level 3

Year 13 preparing for NCEA Scholarchip level

NCEA Preparation Workshops

These workshops aim to provide practical tools and strategies to help unpack more difficult sentences and improve comprehension skills for both spoken and written texts.

DELF/DALF preparation Workshops

DELF/DALF preparation workshops help you prepare for the different parts of the examinations and are available for all levels.
